The provider sends an invoice
Your provider sends a correctly completed invoice to your plan manager. For My NDIS Plan Manager, provider invoices go to invoice@myndispm.com.au.
NDIS plan management explained
Plan management is one way to manage the funding in an NDIS plan. A plan manager handles provider invoices and financial administration while helping you understand and monitor your budget.

The plan manager's role
A plan manager helps manage the financial side of your NDIS plan. This commonly includes receiving provider invoices, checking that the claimed supports fit the plan and current NDIS requirements, claiming funds through the NDIS system, paying providers and keeping financial records.
Your plan manager can also provide regular statements and help you follow how much funding has been used. My NDIS Plan Manager provides secure online access to relevant budget and invoice information for participants, nominees and authorised Support Coordinators.
A plan manager does not decide which supports you should buy, replace a Support Coordinator, or change the amount of funding in your plan. You remain in control of your providers and support choices, subject to your plan, service agreements and NDIS rules.
If plan management is included in your NDIS plan, you can choose a registered plan manager. You can ask about plan management at a planning conversation or plan reassessment. The NDIS also explains that participants can change plan managers, subject to any notice period in their service agreement.
For the official overview, see the NDIS explanation of plan managers.
How it works
The exact process depends on your setup, but these are the usual steps.
Your provider sends a correctly completed invoice to your plan manager. For My NDIS Plan Manager, provider invoices go to invoice@myndispm.com.au.
The invoice details are checked against available information, your agreed setup and relevant NDIS requirements. Some arrangements may include participant approval.
Once the invoice is ready, the plan manager claims the available funding and arranges payment to the provider, then records the transaction.
